Man Assaulted with Rock in University of Tennessee Medical Center Parking Lot

Knoxville, TN (March 3, 2021) A man was assaulted after having a rock thrown at him in a parking lot at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The man who threw the rock has since been charged with aggravated assault. Law enforcement reports that the man used closed fists and a rock against the man inside the cancer center parking lot at the medical center. As a result of the incident, the victim incurred injuries to his head and face. Additional details about the incident are still pending.
