How to Avoid Obstacles With Road Work Equipment
Some of the critical steps that you can take to avoid colliding with road work equipment include:
- Avoid tailgating. Tailgating occurs when a motor vehicle driver follows too closely to other vehicles.
- Follow road workers cautiously. Flaggers are commonly involved in road projects. These flaggers have the important task of directing traffic to avoid having motorists end up in dangerous areas.
- Place away distractions. Various distractions can prevent drivers from watching out for obstacles, including work equipment. Do not always assume that workers will place warnings about this equipment.
