Common Reasons Vehicles Strike Trees

While some factors that cause people to strike trees are their own fault, other accidents are caused by the negligence of a third party. Some of the most common reasons these accidents occur include:

  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Animals like deer and drugs that run across the road suddenly.
  • Defective or poorly maintained roads
  • Distracted drivers who text or talk on the phone while driving
  • Careless drivers who caused other motorists to swerve
  • Intoxicated motorists who fail to stop for road emergencies in time
  • People who fall asleep at the wheel
