Fatality Reported in Multiple Vehicle Crash Close to Pikeville

Pikeville, TN (March 26, 2021) Law enforcement responded to a multiple vehicle crash on Highway 127 just south of Pikeville in Bledsoe County.

Neither occupant in the Nissan was restrained at the time of the collisions.

The Nissan driver was injured in the accident. Meanwhile, a passenger in the Nissan Maxima was also injured. The two drivers were adequately restrained at the time of the accident and were not injured.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has found that there were 33,244 deadly motor vehicle crashes that occurred in the United States in 2019. These 33,244 crashes result in 36,096 deaths.
