Victim Attacked with Frying Pan Off Webb Avenue

Crossville, TN (March 7, 2021) Crossville law enforcement responded to a restaurant on North Main Street on March 7th in response to calls about a disturbance. Law enforcement arrived at the scene to find a male victim with blood on both his face and his clothes. The man was soon transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment

Law enforcement later discovered that the altercation occurred at an apartment on Webb Avenue where the man was struck with a frying pan. Law enforcement observed more blood on a back porch area. The man stated that he got into an altercation with the victim over a female. The other man was subsequently arrested for aggravated assault.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation reports that for the number of reported crimes per 100,000 population, there were 250.2 aggravated assaults in 2019.
