The trooper used his vehicle to stop the vehicle, and when the driver stopped his truck, he then attempted to flee on foot. The trooper was able to subdue him and he was arrested. The report indicates that the driver “smelled of alcohol and he had ‘bloodshot watery eyes.’” He was ultimately arrested and charged with a litany of charges, including DUI, reckless endangerment, evading arrest, driving while suspended, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, and evading arrest with risk of death or injury.
