Fairfield Glade, TN (November 10, 2020) A car crash occurred in Fairfield Glade in the 300 block of Stonehedge Road in the afternoon of November 10th. As a result of the accident, motorists passing through the area were advised to exercise caution. Additional details about the accident including what caused the accident, the severity of the damage, and how many people were involved still remains uncertain.

The retirement community of Fairfield Glade is just a portion of Cumberland County. The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security has found that so far in 2020, there were 647 property damage only car crashes, 222 injury only crashes, and 18 fatality causing crashes  in Cumberland County. Understandably, given this large number of car accidents in the county, many motorists are curious about what steps they can take to avoid becoming one of these numbers. One of the best ways to reduce the risk of ending up in a car crash is for drivers to focus on more than just the vehicle that is immediately in front of them. Instead, it is a good idea for motorists to remain observant of several cars ahead as well as the entirety of their surroundings.
