Tree Falls on Teenage Hiker in Unicoi County

Unicoi County, TN (November 10, 2020) Law enforcement with Unicoi County reports that a 13-year-old was injured after a tree fell on him while he was hiking the Appalachian Trail. First responders came and helped the family get off the trail following the accident. Law enforcement also suspects that the teen might have experienced a broken rib due to the falling of the tree limb.
