Professional Background
Andrea Hancock brings more than a decade of hands-on legal experience to her role as an associate attorney at Fox, Farley, Willis & Burnette. Having spent over ten years working in personal injury and civil litigation before becoming an attorney, Andrea offers clients a unique depth of practical knowledge, insight, and dedication that sets her apart.
Andrea earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law, where she consistently ranked at the top of her class and received multiple CALI Awards for academic excellence. During law school, she served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research, providing guidance and mentorship to fellow students while further refining her own analytical and writing skills.
Andrea began her legal career as a paralegal and has been an integral part of the Fox, Farley, Willis & Burnette team for years, contributing to the successful resolution of numerous cases on behalf of injured clients. Her experience spans all phases of litigation—from case development and discovery to trial preparation—giving her a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively advocate for her clients.
In her current practice, Andrea focuses primarily on personal injury matters, including:
- Motor vehicle collisions
- Catastrophic injuries
- Wrongful death
- Workers’ compensation claims
She also works alongside the firm’s family law attorney on domestic matters, providing clients with thoughtful and detail-oriented representation during some of life’s most difficult transitions.
Andrea is known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to clear communication. She approaches every case with the goal of helping clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the legal process.

Personal Life
Andrea is originally from Rogersville, Tennessee, and spent over a decade in Johnson City while attending East Tennessee State University. She now lives in East Tennessee with her husband, Hunter, whom she married in 2014, and their three rescue dogs—Bennie, Willow, and Max. Bennie is a familiar face around the office as one of the firm’s beloved office dogs.
Outside of her legal practice, Andrea enjoys traveling and exploring other countries as well as spending time outdoors, taking advantage of the natural beauty that East Tennessee has to offer.
